NOLA Musicians Announce All-Star Benefit For Louisiana Flood Victims

first_imgBeloved New Orleans venue The Howlin’ Wolf has announced a concert to benefit the victims of the widespread floods that ravaged much of Louisiana earlier this month. Billed as “From NOLA With Love,” the September 10th show will feature a long list of Crescent City favorites including Johnny Vidacovich, Derrick Freeman, Boukou Groove, Honey Island Swamp Band and many more, as well as a selection of food trucks. The organizers have also alluded to an as-of-yet unannounced special guest to be confirmed later this week.There will be a $25 suggested donation at the door, with the proceeds going directly to families affected by the flooding and the Second Harvest Food Bank.
